Nordstrom Set to Open Store in The Woodlands Mall

Nordstrom, Houston shopping

No need to drive to the Galleria for high-end department store shopping: After years of rumors, Nordstrom has finally officially announced it's opening  a full-line store in a Houston suburban area.

Nordstrom will open a department store in The Woodlands Mall in fall 2014. They will set up shop in the two-level, 138,000 square-foot anchor pad that will be left vacant when Sears closes next year.

The store in The Woodlands Mall will be the fourth Nordstrom in the Houston area, including Nordstrom Rack discount outlets at Post Oak and at Sugar Land's Town Center.
