Mischer Investments and Smithco Development Break Ground on Cypress Creek Plaza
Mischer Investments and Smithco Development have partnered to develop and recently broke ground on a new retail center in the master-planned community of Cypress Creek Lakes in Cypress, Texas.
“Cypress Creek Plaza” will be prominently located at the northeast corner of Fry Road and Tuckerton Road, approximately ten miles north of Interstate 10 and three and a half miles south of Highway 290 in the Cypress Creek Lake community. The new retail center is being developed on a ten-acre tract anchored by HEB. It will service growing residential communities of Cypress Creek Lakes, Towne Lake, Bridgeland, Canyon Lakes, and Black Horse Ranch.
Cypress Creek Plaza will consist of three multi-tenant retail buildings totaling 51,000 square feet, and three pad sites facing Fry Road. Over 70% of the center is preleased to tenants that will offer consumers a wide variety of services; including restaurants, veterinary and pet supplies, medical, optical, dry cleaners, postal services, hair and nail salons as well as several national retailers. Identity Architects designed the center. The retail portion of the center will be completed and ready for tenants to move in by summer of 2016, and will create an attractive and convenient shopping facility for local neighborhoods and businesses.
