Tomball Night Festival Set for August 3rd

Residents of northwest Houston enjoy the Tomball Night tradition held in Downtown Tomball annually. “Celebrating 40 Years” is this year’s theme for the August 3rd festivities. The tradition originally started as a back to school shopping event and evolved to an end of summer celebration with annual average of 20,000 attendees.
Located in Downtown Tomball just north of The Vintage off Hwy. 249 and FM 2920, the festival will include local retailers with extended hours and special discounts. Entertainment for the whole family includes a kid’s center with inflatables, a car show, plus many vendors scattered throughout the Downtown District.
“It’s a staple of Tomball and a festival all over town,” said Bruce Hillegeist, president of the Tomball Chamber of Commerce. “We want people to discover Tomball and make Tomball a habit to come for groceries, clothes shopping, movies and restaurants. We love [for] new people to come and visit.”
The Night Parade begins at 9:15 pm and travels down Main Street. A spectacular fireworks display ends the festival. Admission is free. Details are still underway, visit http://www.tomballchamber.org/ for updates.
